We currently have ad hoc holiday care for children over 5 years of age for full days and part days.
The Out ‘N’ About Club is a School Holiday Club for children in the South Manchester/Stockport areas. It is run by Emma
and Vicky, two ex- Primary School teachers and Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ childminders who work
together on a weekly basis to provide a programme of varied, fun activities and
trips out for the children in our care. Activities are planned flexibly,
taking into account the children’s interests, thoughts and suggestions about what they would
like to do. We offer a range of significant learning opportunities which add value to the EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 Curriculum. The children are provided with home cooked meals and healthy snacks and drinks within nurturing family environments. We rarely stay in all day and we do usually go 'out 'n' about' somewhere everyday!
We both have current Paediatric First Aid qualifications and CRB checks (DBS) along with business car insurance.
Here are some examples of school holiday outings:
The Transport Museum, MOSI, The Whitworth Art Gallery, Runway Airport Visitors' Centre, Portland Basin, Longford Park, Heaton Park
We also enjoy:
